Machu Picchu Tour 2D/1N

This 2-day tour allows you to travel from Cusco or the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu Pueblo aboard the exclusive trains and explore the famous Inca citadel of Machu Picchu built in the 15th century, learning about its architecture, history and the daily life of its inhabitants.

Day 01

Cusco – Valle Sagrado – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

A world full of adventures!

This day we transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo, from here the train ride will be approximately two hours to the town of Aguas Calientes. During the trip, you will enjoy many glacial peaks, lush valleys and Inca agricultural terraces on both sides of the valley.

Moreover, from the train you will see many of the Inca constructions and km 82 where the Classic Inca Trail begins. Little by little, you will go into the jungle to finally reach the town of Aguas Calientes. Once there we will go to our hotel where we will have the afternoon free.

You can organize some activities such as a visit to the thermal baths or visit the waterfalls of Mandor. Overnight in the town of Aguas Calientes.

Day 02

This day you will be able to explore and enjoy the Inca City of Machu Picchu to the fullest. We will wake up very early and after breakfast we will board the first bus 5:30 AM, we will make a 30 minute trip to the citadel of Machu Picchu and be able to appreciate the majestic sunrise.
We will have a guided tour of 2 hours to know the most important places of Machu Picchu, after the tour you will have free time to visit Machu Picchu on your own (optional climb the mountain of Huaynapicchu or Machu Picchu extra cost $25 USD).
At appropriate time we will descend from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes to board our train back to Ollantaytambo station and then by car to your hotel in Cusco.

Important Information

Terms and conditions of cancellation of the tour

  1. We are a company from Cusco, legally recognized by Peruvian law.
  2. In addition, we are a sustainable tour operator, our focus is to provide a first-class service without compromising the working conditions of our workers.
  3. A professional, licensed trekking tour operator.
  4. We are proud to be a completely local indigenous company that promotes responsible tourism in the Cusco region.
  5. Conditions for cancellations. Cancellations made 48 hours in advance are free of charge.
  6. If the client cancels between 23 and 20 hours before the trip, he/she will have to pay 50% of the total cost of the trip.
  7. If the client cancels between 15 and 10 hours before the trek, he/she must pay 80% of the total cost of the trip.
  8. If the client cancels on the day of the trek, he/she must pay 100% of the total cost.
  9. If after the tour has started, a client cannot participate in the trek or tour (due to sickness, physical problems, etc.) no refund will be given.
  10. The customer must also pay any additional costs they incur for transportation, lodging and food.
  11. In case of adverse weather conditions that prevent the start of the service, the client will receive a 50% refund.
  12. In the event of a natural disaster that requires a change in the trek route, but the trek is still completed, there will be no refund. This includes alterations to Salkantay Trek.
  13. In the highly unlikely event that your service is not completed due to a failure on the part of the agency you will receive a full refund (including your deposit).
  14. In the event of illness or injury on one of our treks or tours, we are able to provide emergency first aid and arrange transport to a suitable medical facility.
  15. However, we are not responsible for the cost of such transportation services or the cost of medical care.

  • Original passport (if you have acquired a new one after you made your booking, bring both)
  • Clothes (trekking boots, warm fleece jacket, a few t-shirts, socks, sun hat, light long pants, gloves, rain jacket)

  • Sunscreen SPF 50+ recommended

  • Camera with spare batteries (batteries run down faster at high altitudes)
